Picking an RV to rent has recently been a top priority for many. With RV Travel featuring prominently in the media, many people are interested in trying out the freedom and convenience of vacationing in their very own home-on-wheels. Purchasing an RV, however, can be a big investment so renting is a phenomenal option for families that are ready to commit to owning one of their own. And if you think you are ready to buy but don’t know which model is best, renting an RV gives you a chance to try out different models to see what works best for your lifestyle.

With so many options, how do you choose the best RV to rent?

Picking an RV to Rent

All of the Suncoast RV Rental RVs are equipped with the comforts of home including a full kitchen, bathroom, sleeping spaces, and TVs. There are small differences, however, that will make a difference on which RV is best for your trip.

Sleeping Options

The first consideration is how many people will be sleeping and traveling in the RV. You want to make sure that you have plenty of beds for your crew. If it is just you and a partner, pretty much any size RV will work as far as sleeping is concerned. If you are used to sleeping in a huge bed, however, and feel like this is a priority for a good-nights rest, there are RVs like the Thor Hurricane that have a comfortable King Bed for your traveling comfort.

If you are traveling with kids, bunk beds are always a hit as it gives them their own space to relax and sleep. The Georgetown 351DSF boasts the popular bunk beds with a private tv in each space. Talk about traveling in style!

Most sofas and dinettes in RVs also convert to beds if you need additional sleeping spots for your crew.

Relaxing in the RV

When planning your RV vacation, whether the plan is to visit a theme park or hit the trail, make sure that you factor in downtime and select an RV that provides plenty of space to relax and enjoy spending time with friends and family. All RVs come equipped with TVs inside but some like the Chateau 23U and the Thor Palazzo to name just a couple, also have TVs outside so you can watch the big game under the awning.

Bringing the Toys

When picking an RV to rent when you need to bring the big toys for your vacation, consider a toy hauler to have the best of both worlds. The Outlaw 29J features an 8′ x 8′ garage with an easy load ramp. It has plenty of space for an ATV, Motorcycle, bikes, kayaks, or a mix of your favorite outdoor toys. After pulling out the toys, the ramp converts the garage to a screened-in patio for enjoying the great outdoors!

Driving the RV

If you’ve never driven an RV before, it can be intimidating! An easy-to-drive Class C RV is smaller than a Class A Gas or Diesel Motorhome but you won’t have as much space inside. Don’t let driving either size stop you from picking the best RV for your trip, however, as Suncoast RV Rental offers an RV Driving Certification course on the RV that you rent for your trip. Just let our team know after you book that you are interested so you can be added to the schedule prior to the big day!

The RV rental options that we gave above are just a few in each category that we have available for rent.
